Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has criticized former Haas team boss Guenther Steiner, suggesting that Steiner’s fame, driven largely by the Netflix series 'Drive to Survive', is not matched by his track record in Formula 1. Horner noted that during Steiner's tenure at Haas from 2014 to 2023, the team failed to secure a single podium finish. Horner remarked, "Guenther Steiner has made a career off the back of it… I mean, I don't think he ever achieved a podium in Formula 1!" while acknowledging that Steiner’s forthright personality made him a successful character for the series. Steiner, who previously worked at Jaguar and briefly as technical director for Red Bull in 2005, has since moved into motorcycle racing and is currently the CEO of the Tech3 MotoGP team.
