This Privacy Policy describes how the Meridian information service collects, processes, stores, and protects the personal data of its Users.

Data is processed lawfully and fairly, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Account data: name (or alias) and email address provided during registration or third-party authentication.

Activity data: page views, bookmarks, comments, language and topic preferences, and interaction history.

Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, cookies, and similar technologies.

When authenticating via third-party services (OAuth), we receive only the minimum necessary data set (typically name and email). The privacy policies of those services apply to the data they transmit.

Data contained in legal requests and rights-holder notices: name, contact details, rights information, URLs of disputed material, and correspondence content, if provided by the claimant.

Providing and supporting Service functionality (authentication, content personalization, bookmarks, comments).

Analytics and quality improvement: aggregated statistics are used to improve the Service. We do not build individual behavioral profiles for transfer to third parties.

Communication with Users: service-related notifications and informational newsletters, subject to the User's explicit consent.

Security: detection and prevention of fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.

Reviewing legal requests, rights-holder notices, takedown requests, and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of the Service.

Performance of a contract: processing is necessary to provide the Service under the User Agreement.
